1. I get to have plenty of time to practice drawing and inking, and 2. I get to buy a medium Wacom Intuos 4 pen tablet.. yehehe..
well, there are actually plenty of other good things that happened but it's not really connected to drawing..
I've tried other pen tablets, like Genius (not really a good choice, but i sold it anyway..hehe..) and Wacom Bamboo (borrowed, doesn't work smoothly in Manga Studio) but for me, nothing really beats the Intuos. It costs a lot, but it's worth it.. I wonder if Wacom will ever make a wireless pen tablet..i hope they will.. hehe..
ever since I bought the intuos, I've constantly been doing line art. I've been wanting to ink my really old, 1 to 5-year-old pencil drawings for a looong time now and finally, i was given the privilege to do it. Oh, bliss..a dream come true.. ^~^
I've been practicing a lot not just because I love doing it but also because I want to work at a manga company back home, salary is reasonable but i'm hesitating because it's pretty far from my house (i don't favor commuting very far) and because probably i'll be the only girl working there.. it's a small company and there aren't any openings yet so I'll just wait for the right time and keep on practicing..lol..
I just posted my inked works and deleted my old pencil works an hour ago..hoping to ink them all..and hoping viewers like my new works..hehe..happy..
I'll have to end this now, i was just in the mood to type..I probably won't type anything in my journal for a few weeks or maybe months..ehehe.. ja!
